Bill's Fishin' Hole (formerly the Troutlodge U-Fish) is a family-friendly facility designed to give kids and adults alike the opportunity to catch the finest Rainbow trout in the Pacific Northwest. Located between Orting and South Prairie, just off Hwy 162, we are open year-round*, 7 days a week.  The hours we are open depend on the season, so please see our Hours & Directions page for current operating hours.  Reservations are not required (though requested for groups), so just come see us and catch the big one anytime.

Facilities

When you do arrive, you will find that the facility consists of three large fishing ponds and a series of hatchery raceways. For those up for the big challenge, the two smaller fishing ponds are stocked with "Trophy-size" Rainbow trout, measuring 3 lbs or more! The main fishing pond, stocked with hundreds of 10-14" rainbow trout, has a large permanent awning covering one side, so fishing can happen come rain or shine. Below the awning are a number of picnic tables and a snack bar, making Bill's Fishin' Hole a perfect setting for group functions. Special discounts are available for groups. Group packages include fishing, fish cleaning, pole rentals, bait, and a free "Bill's Fishin' Hole" t-shirt. Pricing

There is no fee to fish. You only pay for what you catch (no catch & release). In addition to fish, we have a great assortment of products available in our gift shop. Equipment

You are welcome to bring your own favorite pole, or rent one for just $1 per visit. Bags and ice for taking your fish home fresh are provided free of charge. Fishing licenses are not required.

Live Fish for Pond Stocking

Bill's Fishin' Hole also supplies Rainbow trout for pond stocking. A variety of sizes are available, and there is no order minimum. Transport equipment is available for use with payment of a refundable security deposit. Please call ahead to make arrangements for picking-up fish for pond stocking. You do need to present a copy of your current WDFW Stocking Permit in order to pick-up fish. See Pricing section below for a current price list.
