Troutlodge Sales Development – Sam Bowman

Troutlodge is happy to announce that we have strengthened our sales effort with the addition of Sam Bowman to our sales team. Sam will focus on developing a number of markets where we currently operate but would like to see strengthening of our position, and will work with our existing network of Agents and Distributors to achieve this.

Sam has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from UBC and 30 years of management experience in the aquaculture industry in North America, Europe and Asia. His background includes both finfish and shellfish aquaculture with an emphasis on strategic planning, marketing and business development. Sam worked for Skretting Canada in various sales and marketing roles over 10 years, for Marine Harvest as North American Sales Manager, and for Cermaq Canada as Director of Processing & Marketing.

Sam is a former Board member of the BC Salmon Farmers Association, and a former Board member of AquaNet, Canada’s Network for Centres of Excellence for Aquaculture Research. Sam was a finalist and presenter at the 2015 Fish 2.0 Sustainable Seafood Competition at Stanford University. He also received recognition for his international business development in the seafood industry as a recipient of both a BC Export Award and Canada Export Award.

Alongside our existing Key Account Manager LATAM, Arturo Porras, and our recent addition of EMEA Sales Manager -Jon Handley we aim to reach and provide product and service to a wider network of trout growers throughout the world.
