Kasper Janssen Appointed R&D Director of BU Salmonids
We are pleased to announce that Kasper Janssen has been appointed as the new R&D Director of BU Salmonids, effective December 1, 2024.
In this role, Kasper will report to Robbert Blonk, Managing Director of BU Salmonids. He will oversee the overall activities of the R&D department and nucleus operations for salmon and trout, with a primary focus on ensuring the successful development, implementation, and management of the breeding program for all genetic lines.
Kasper brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this important position, and we are confident that his leadership will be instrumental in driving forward the innovative work of the R&D team in BU Salmonids.
As part of this leadership transition, Robbert Blonk will step down from his role as Director for R&D of both BU Salmonids and BU Shrimp. Robbert will now dedicate his full attention to his role as Managing Director of BU Salmonids, further strengthening his focus on the continued growth and success of the business unit.
